Babylon – Visual Polyglotism in the Independent Magazine World
This is my theatrical thesis book for my master graduation in Communication Design at Naba – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano.
The thesis about indepenedent publishing is the theoretical base for the creation of Babylon Magazine. The research starts from an overall analysis of the indie market of art and fashion magazine, to a more formal analysis of trends and visual languages in the contemporary editorial panorama, all supported by case studies.
The thesis also features a brand manual of Babylon Magazine and all the communication and marketing strategy releated to the lauch of the magazine in the market.
